  1. LOVED this list! Reminds me of my mother :). She did all of these things.

  2. I think part of being a “good” mom is second guessing yourself and questioning your decisions throughout the day. I love your list. It is a lot of the same things I want my kids to see me doing.

  3. This is a great list!

No matter what we do as moms, there will come the dreaded “you are a horrible mom” know that you aren’t.

  4. What a great, well rounded list… I thought of some goals that I’d like to carry from your list into my life. Thank you for sharing! – Jerusha, TheDisneyChef.com

  5. This is a great post! I was just telling my husband that as parents we have to remind ourselves of some things we should be doing. It doesn’t always come automatically. Sharing!! God bless!

  6. I loved this post! I don’t have little kiddo’s yet, but there are future plans for them and I too try to think about what lessons and things I want to pass on and teach my kids one day! Reading was a big thing for me growing up, both my mom and my dad would get into it and it’s some of my most vivid childhood memories and I’m still an avid reader today! As well as how loving and respectful they are to each other, I found a man I could have the same type of relationship with my own husband 🙂

Keep up the good work with your cute children, I’m sure your doing just fine! 🙂

  7. Hi!
I think this is my favorite think and the most touching i have read in pinterest ever, we have 4 kids between 1-8
I feel most of the time Its so busy to keep everyone feed and dressed ,
Cooking n cleaning and laundry, i dont really have time to THINK ,
What do i really want my kids to see me do every day?
This was a big eye opener for me,
Thank you so much for taking the time to write it and share it with the everybody.
    God bless you richly ?

    1. So glad you found encouragement in this Eva. Thank you for your kind words and God bless you too as you raise your precious children 🙂

  8. This is a great list! It makes me stop and reflect on how I’m doing with each one of these areas. Our children see how we respond to every moment, and I want them to emulate the good things they see (but they also emulate the bad). This helps me be more accountable to display a life I would want for them.

  9. Great list! I would also like my kids to see me exercising and eating healthy. Two more things that add to being well rounded. We can do the exercising by taking our kids on fun active outings or just turning on the music and dancing. My boys abd I love when a good movie ends at our house and we hop up and dance like crazy. Just us and we laugh. A great way to end our lazy 2 hours.
