Something that I keep hearing over and over from other women, bloggers, and mothers is that they just want to slow down and enjoy the days. It seems simple enough in theory but once you add in chores, kid’s activities, expectations or other reasons, the last thing your day looks like is slow and intentional.
While summer can appear like a season where things naturally slow down and you have long, lazy days to enjoy, reality rears its head and before you know it your summer is gone due to camps, swimming lessons, VBS, play dates, BBQs, family vacations or other worthwhile activities.
You don’t want to start a brand new school year in a few months feeling tired and worn out do you? Nor do your kids for that matter. Today I have the honor to be featured as a guest writer over on another favorite blog of mine, The Humbled Homemaker, where I’m sharing 5 ways to intentionally plan your days to allow for rest.
