  1. I’m pretty good at being productive in the mornings, but afternoons are a different story! I need to work on that. This is a great list.

  2. This is such an inspiration to me! I need so badly to get into a routine and not wait until things get desperate to catch up! Thanks for the post! I found you via the Fellowship Friday linkup. 🙂

  4. These area some wonderful ideas! After lunch in our home is usually homeschool & rest time, but I know that even spending 15 minutes in the kitchen after lunch would make a world of difference come dinner time! I also like the only-touch-the-mail-once idea. Thanks for sharing 🙂 I’m visiting from the Better Mom link-up!

  5. I like your afternoon routine. My main obstacle is the laundry because ours is in the basement and it is difficult to do when the little ones are up. Usually when I have a break at naptime I do everything BUT the laundry.
I am not sure why I continue to put it off!

  6. Enjoyed reading this – great food for thought! I’m SO not a laundry fan though. :-/ Thanks for this! Stopped by from Better Mom link-up and glad I did. 🙂 Blessings!

  7. Visiting from Titus 2 Tuesday! Love your afternoon list! I am a like you and love to get things out of the way… however, my mail does pile up. I need to adopt your one touch rule! Thanks for sharing! 🙂

  9. This series is encouraging me and kicking me (in a good way) to do the same. Happy clean home is always a priority for me, but becoming a family of 8 has changed the routine just a bit.

  10. Great list! It is so helpful to have a list of what to accomplish because it’s so easy to get distracted by other tasks. I like that it’s simple and not too long. I’ve been doing this for blogging and it has really increased my productivity. Thanks for sharing! Stopping by from the ddb.

  11. Excellent list.. I think I need to get started on mine now! I do dishes every morning, but it’s so easy to slack on laundry (especially if you have an awful dryer like I do!)
    Thanks or the motivation!

  12. Sounds like we’re on a similar schedule, although prepping dinner with my 18 month old underfoot is kind of a challenge. Thank goodness he likes “helping”! I’m also adding go to the gym to my post-nap schedule- that is some much needed me time and the wee one gets the run of the playroom.
