  1. My mom uses something like this on her floors. She is so picky about her hardwoods & she loves her house to smell good. I love going over there, it’s calming.

  2. I think this is perfect advice or tips for those Mum that has toddlers just started to walk or crawl around
their living room or other part of the house. And I will definitely follow your tips here. I am part of Frugal Mum community *wink

    thanks for the recipe!

    1. Thanks Becca 🙂 I remember one day when my son was a baby and crawling around on the floor and his white bodysuit starting turning brown from dirt! I knew it was time to mop the floor but didn’t want to use harsh chemicals, especially when he was so close the floor all the time.

  3. I have the same mop and use a similar solution to clean my floors (though not often enough as I should!). I love how frugal and effective this floor cleaner is. Next time I’ll have to add some essential oil! 🙂
Found you a One Project at a Time. 🙂

    1. Thanks Kim, don’t you love the mop? It’s super convenient! And I’m with you, I probably don’t mop as much as I should but there is grace 🙂

  4. Lemon oil is great but vinegar over time can wear the finish of certain hardwood flooring – it is stronger than you might think. It is also important to use the damp mop rather than wet and leave the floors as dry as possible.

  5. Great combination of vinegar and lemon oil because as we all know vinegar is good at removing stain. Thank you for sharing this one.
