  1. I better start collecting fall books for my son. A Pumpkin Prayer (Time to Pray) seems like a great book. I’ll check it out. 🙂

  2. I remember reading a few of these both to my kids and to my preschool students, especially The Pumpkin Prayer. Thanks so much for the link-up!

  3. Well, I’m going to the comment on the TV mention. 🙂 I’m thinking I’m going to binge watch Gilmore Girls when I’m folding laundry … I’m sort of surprised I haven’t watched it yet. Totally seems like my kind of show!

    1. Get ready to lose several hours of your life Kristin! 🙂 I will say that the first three seasons where my favorite and I didn’t care for the last half of the series as much, even though it was still good. But the first season especially is my favorite.

  4. Love this, it was fun to read about your favorites, I could almost feel the excitement of your kids as you pulled the books out of the box. 🙂 I am up to my eyeballs in books right now doing my 31 day series, thanks for sharing some of yours and the link up.

    1. You’re welcome Tobi and they were super thrilled, and still are, to read some new books. That’s the best part of special seasonal books, seeing their excitement the first few days of reading something new. It’s almost like Christmas morning!

  5. very cool!! I can’t wait to check out some of those books… We haven’t read all of them!!

  6. It looks like a great collection! We used to do the same thing…get out the fall books in the fall, Christmas at Christmas. I love children’s books. We saved most of them for when our kids have their own children, and I even have some of my favorites from when I was a child.

    1. That’s so fun Michelle! I have several books from when I was a kid too and I hope to keep several for my kid’s kids if they aren’t too hard on them! 🙂

  7. What a great way to introduce the idea of seasons to children and have favorite stories to look forward to! I had never thought of this idea!

  8. Great list of children’s books for fall. We have several of these books and my kids love them! You just reminded me that I need to pull some of them down from the attic. I have them in boxes by seasons so they get excited when they haven’t seen those books in a while. Thanks so much for the reminder. 🙂

  9. Thanks so much for this! I love to read my little one books that are perfect for the season, but I never know where to find them. We are definitely headed to the library to find some of these.

  10. We don’t have kids but my husband and I enjoy listening to audible on our ride to and from work! We’re currently reading The Night Circus!

    1. I keep hearing about Audible and I think it’s time I join in too. I would get so much more reading down if I could listen while doing chores, driving or other tasks that don’t require complete attention from my part 🙂

  11. I love the idea of doing a seasonal book collection. We have books for every season, but they are mixed in with the rest. I think I am going to have to change that! Thanks for the awesome idea, and great recommendations.
