  1. Love this! I’ve missed church for several weeks now (nearly since Christmas Eve, too). It’s been one thing after another… Wonderful ideas here to stay nourished in the Word, even when we can’t make it to church.

  2. These are great tips for everyday and especially when you aren’t able to get into church! Being sick stinks and I’m so sorry it’s making its way around the whole family! Hopefully you all start to feel better soon so you can get back in church. Until then, good for you for finding ways to be intentional!

    1. Mary Leight it has definitely been hard not being in church but I’m so thankful we have resources to keep us engaged! We are all on the mend now so I can’t wait for Sunday!

  3. Victoria, I understand! After several illnesses, I became thankful for “streaming live” so I can be a part of a church service even when I cannot be there.
God’s words, from the gospels, remind us that not everyone who goes to church will enter heaven. I love how one preacher put it, “sitting in my garage does not make me a car anymore than sitting in a pew makes me a Christian”. There are so many people who go to church just out of routine or obligation, yet you are gaining more from intimate worship alone with God. Victoria, when you get to Heaven, you will hear God say, “well done, good and faithful servant”. You, Victoria have prioritized your quiet time with God far more than some of the people who go to church every Sunday and stay on their Facebook accounts the whole time. Well done, my new found sister in Christ! ?

    1. Oh Erin, thank you so much for your sweet words of encouragement. 🙂 I am also so thankful we live in a time where we have so many wonderful resources to help us stay connected to church and growing our faith, even when we can’t make it there personally! 🙂
