Summer is a busy season for moms but don’t forget to plan a little bit of time for you. Challenge yourself this year with a summer self care challenge!

As we are getting into the busy summer months most of us make plans to take family vacations, lots of outing with the kids, friends over for BBQ and many more activities.
Summer is a busy time of year, and one that most of us enjoy. BUT most of the time Mamas put their needs on the back burner to make sure that our little ones have a wonderful summer vacation.
I love challenges! I love setting up my own for myself; from Reading Challenges to Health and Fitness.
I want to give you a challenge for this summer! (It’s a good one for me too!)
This summer I challenge you to set Self-Care goals.
Sit down and make a list of thing you can do to take care of Mama this summer.
Make time once a week for self-care.
Really finding a little time each day is beneficial even if it is 15 minutes during nap time. Put it on your schedule! Pencil yourself in 😉
Make it a time of no distractions. No phone, email, social media!
When you take time to take care of you to refresh yourself you will be able to take care of your family much better.
Self care is something we do throughout the day by eating healthy, getting enough sleep, spending time in prayer and bible study. This challenge is to take that a little bit further than just the basics.
This is about putting in a little extra time and care into yourself. My biggest self care goals this year have been working on healthy eating and weight loss. But just as much as I need to take care of myself physically I need to take time to care for my spiritual, emotional, and mental needs too.
